MIW, the Ambigramic Textmode Web Browser
So last night Deveah, the 13 year old Romanian who started the 1KB RL thing and is constantly challenging himself to meet some ridiculous challenge or other (a web server and an IRC client last week) as long as he does it in FreeBASIC, asked if I wanted to help him write a web browser and I, having numerous other things to do, immediately agreed.

After a little over 1 day later and surprisingly little effort:

Notice that it can already layout nested tables (the Google search box)! Over half the code right there. Many small/text browsers don't attempt tables at all.

    About Time
    As promised (to Charbile):

Look! I made, why even completed a game! A post worthy of my journal! A roguelike written in 1024 bytes of source code, for the <1kB RL challenge. It only took me 4 weeks to finish to my satisfaction.

The details are posted to rec.games.roguelike.development, archived on Google Groups here

    A pretty awesome website
    The Assembly Gems Page
Also a good place to follow links from, not that I really have any intention to use assembly optimisations.

    LJ created.

I figure that if I am going to continue posting on other people's LJ's, I should create an account. Actually, I rarely read journals or post comments. I don't have any specific plans to regularly post entries here, in fact I'm probably more likely to post in my CP journal, but I might use this if I find some use for it. (Posting about my day isn't the sort of use I want.)
